About Al Mizhar

Al Mizhar is villas and only villas. There are no apartment blocks across Al Mizhar 1 and 2, and homes here run from roughly 7,000 to 15,000 square feet with large front gardens. Etihad Mall and Arabian Center both sit on Al Khawaneej Road, which forms the southern boundary with Mirdif, and Al Tunis Road runs along the north.

The communities inside Al Mizhar

Every one of these is inside our collection area. The differences are at the door, not in what we can take.

Al Mizhar 1: Villas of two to five bedrooms with covered areas from about 7,000 to 15,000 square feet, on open streets near the Sharjah border. Four community parks sit inside it, and GEMS Royal Dubai School, GEMS Founders and Al-Mizhar American Academy are all here.
Al Mizhar 2: The eastern half, standalone villas from three bedrooms upward, bounded by Al Khawaneej Street to the south and running up towards the Sharjah border. Al Mizhar Second Park has a football ground, a volleyball court and a jogging track.
Etihad Mall and Arabian Center: Both sit on Al Khawaneej Road inside Al Mizhar. Arabian Center opened in March 2009 and is run by Al-Futtaim. They are the two landmarks a driver will know without being told a street name.
The Mushrif Park edge: Mushrif Park runs along the southern side of Al Mizhar 2, on the far side of the boundary. The streets facing it are the quietest in the district.

There are no apartment buildings in Al Mizhar, and that single fact decides what we collect. Every load is a household load: bedding from four or five rooms, curtains from a whole floor, floor rugs, and the outdoor cushion covers that come with a private garden. The larger villas run past 15,000 square feet of covered area, which means a curtain set is a van job and not a bag job. The school density here is unusual even for Dubai, with four or five schools inside the district, so pressed uniforms are a steady part of what leaves these houses during term. We count by the piece (wash & fold by the kilo), so a big villa load is priced the same way a small one is.
